Fruit And Cream Cheese Salad
Ingredients
- 16 oz can fruit cocktail
- 2 3 oz pkg strawberry gelatin
- 2 c boiling water
- 8 oz cream cheese
- 14 tsp cinnamon
Directions
- Drain fruit cocktail reserving juice
- Add enough water to juice to make 1 cup
- Dissolve gelatin in the 2 cups boiling water
- Add the juice mixture
- Take 2 14 cups of this mixture and chill until thickened
- Blend remaining gelatin slowly into softened cream cheese and cinnamon beating until smooth
- Set aside
- Add fruit cocktail to thickened gelatin and pour into 6 cup mold or 10 individual molds
- Chill until set but not firm about 15 minutes
- Top with cream cheese and gelatin mixture Chill until firm about 3 hours
- Unmold
- Makes about 10 servings
