Fruit Cheese Ball
Ingredients
- 1 8 oz pkg cream cheese softened
- 3 oz Swiss cheese shredded
- 12 tsp nutmeg
- 1 c apple finely chopped
- 1 c mixed dried fruit finely chopped raisins dates and apricots
- 13 to 12 c nuts finely chopped walnuts pecans or Macadamia
- 2 Tbsp parsley finely chopped
Directions
- Cream the cream cheese and nutmeg
- Toss fruits with lemon juice
- Stir into cheeses and chill to slightly firm
- Shape into ball
- Combine nuts and parsley
- Roll ball in mixture
- Store in refrigerator
- Allow to soften to room temperature before serving Serve with crackers
