Fruit Cobbler

Ingredients

  • fresh or frozen fruit approximately 1 qt
  • 12 c sugar
  • 12 c water
  • 1 c self-rising flour
  • 1 c sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 stick margarine

Directions

  1. Place fruit on bottom of glass Pyrex dish
  2. Sprinkle with water and 12 cup sugar
  3. Mix flour and 1 cup sugar in bowl Cut egg into dry ingredients until like coarse crumbs
  4. Sprinkle over fruit
  5. Melt margarine and pour over
  6. Bake at 350 for approximately 40 minutes until topping is brown
