Fruit Cookies
Ingredients
- 1 12 lb butter
- 1 box brown sugar
- 3 eggs
- 4 12 c self-rising flour
- 3 Tbsp milk
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 tsp soda
- 2 lb chopped dates
- 1 lb jar pineapple preserves
- 3 lb pecans 12 c
- 12 slices pineapple
- 1 lb cherries
Directions
- Cream butter and sifted sugar
- Add eggs one at a time
- Add vanilla milk and preserves
- Sift flour and soda together and add to butter mixture
- Have all fruits and nuts cut up into small pieces
- Roll in extra flour shake off as much flour as possible Add to batter
- Mix with hands until all fruits are well covered Drop on greased pan
- Bake in slow 350 oven for about 18 minutes
