Fruit Jumblet Cookies
Ingredients
- 1 12 c sugar
- 3 c flour
- 1 c lard
- 2 c walnuts
- 3 eggs separated
- 1 lb dates
- 1 tsp soda in 12 c boiling water
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 tsp cinnamon
Directions
- Grind dates with a little flour to keep from sticking walnuts help too
- Fold in egg whites stiffly beaten last
- Bake at 350 for 10 minutes
