Fruit Pie
Ingredients
- 2 12 c vanilla wafers crumbled
- 2 sticks butter
- 7 oz coconut
- 1 jar maraschino cherries
- 1 can Mandarin oranges
- 1 can pineapples tidbits or chunks
- 1 can peaches diced
- 1 can Eagle Brand milk chilled
- 3 Tbsp lemon juice
- 12 oz Cool Whip
- walnuts
Directions
- Drain fruit and set aside
- Melt butter in iron skillet
- Pour in coconut and brown add vanilla wafer crumbs
- Remove from heat Put aside 12 cup of mixtrue
- Press immediately in 2 pie plates Beat milk and lemon juice until peaked add cool whip
- Gently fold in fruit and walnuts
- Top with crust mixture
- Refrigerate overnight
