Fruit Squares

Ingredients
- 2 c sugar
- 12 lb margarine
- 4 eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 3 c flour
- 1 can pie filling or 1 jar preserves
Directions
- Cream sugar and margarine in a large bowl
- Beat in eggs one at a time
- Add vanilla
- Add flour and mix well
- Spread 34 of batter into a greased 11 x 15 x 1-inch pan
- Cover with fruit filling
- Drop remaining batter by teaspoonfuls randomly on top of filling
- Bake 45 minutes at 350
- Cool and cut into squares
