Fudge Four OClocks
Ingredients
- 2 oz chocolate
- 14 c shortening
- 3 eggs
- 1 c sugar
- 1 c cake flour
- 12 tsp salt
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 12 c milk
- 1 c pecans or walnuts chopped
Directions
- Melt chocolate and pour over shortening mix well
- Beat eggs until thick and lemon colored
- Add sugar gradually beating well with each addition
- Combine mixtures and add a little of the flour
- Sift rest of the flour salt and baking soda together add alternately with milk
- Add chopped nuts
- Spread in 2 greased and floured 8 x 8-inch pans
- Bake in a slow oven 325 for 20 minutes
- Frost with vanilla frosting and cut into bars
