Fudgie Brownies

Ingredients
- 1/2 c. plus 2 tsp. butter
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 2 eggs
- 6 Tbsp. cocoa
- 3/4 c. all-purpose flour
- 1/2 c. pecans (optional)
Directions
- Melt butter in medium saucepan. Combine sugar and cocoa.
- Add to butter.
- Blend in eggs, one at a time. Add vanilla.
- Stir in flour and nuts.
- Spread in greased 8 x 8 x 2-inch pan. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes. Be careful not to overbake.
- Cool and cut into 16 squares.
- Sprinkle with confectioners sugar for an extra touch.
