Funnel Cake

Ingredients

  • 2 eggs beaten
  • 1 12 c milk
  • 2 c flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 12 tsp salt
  • 2 c cooking oil for frying

Directions

  1. In mixing bowl combine eggs and milk
  2. Sift dry ingredients add and beat
  3. Heat oil to 360 in 8-inch skillet
  4. Pour 12 cup batter through a funnel in a spiral shape
  5. Fry until golden brown about 3 minutes
  6. Using tongs turn cakes carefully
  7. Cook 1 minute more
  8. Drain on paper towel and sprinkle with powdered sugar
  9. Makes 4 cakes
