Garbage Can Dinner

Ingredients
- 10 lb whole potatoes
- 10 to 12 lb boneless ham cut up
- 10 to 12 lb smoked sausage cut up
- 3 lb whole onions
- 3 head cabbage cut up
- 6 lb whole carrots
- 20 to 25 ears corn cut in half
- 1 lb butter
- 1 gal water
Directions
- Dig hole in ground put two concrete blocks on each side set garbage can over hole with a wood fire
- Put top on can and cook for 1 12 hours
- Feeds 25 to 30
