GarryS Rum Cream Pie

Ingredients
- 1 baked crumb crust
- 6 egg yolks
- 1 scant c sugar
- 1 Tbsp gelatin
- 12 c dark rum
- 1 pt heavy cream or use Cool Whip
Directions
- Beat the egg yolks until light in color then gradually beat in the sugar
- Soak the gelatin in the cold water and put on low heat stirring until gelatin is dissolved
- In a slow stream pour the gelatin mixture into the egg mixture beating constantly
- Cool mixture
- Stir in the rum
