Georgia Peach Cake

Ingredients
- 12 c butter
- 12 c sugar
- 1 tsp lemon rind
- 2 eggs
- 1 c flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 12 tsp salt
- 1 c peach slices
- 13 c sugar
- 12 tsp cinnamon
- 14 c chopped nuts
Directions
- Cream butter and 12 cup sugar
- Add lemon rind beat
- Add eggs
- Mix next 3 dry ingredients and add to batter a little at a time
- Pour half of batter into greased 9 x 9-inch square pan Place drained peach slices over batter
- Add remaining batter to cover peaches
- Combine remaining ingredients and pour over peaches
- Bake at 350 for 35 to 40 minutes
- Cut in squares and serve with whipped cream
