German Apple Cake
Ingredients
- 4 Tbsp shortening
- 12 c white sugar
- 12 c brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 c flour
- 12 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 12 tsp salt
- 3 c peeled and diced apples
- 12 c chopped walnuts
- 12 c raisin
Directions
- In large bowl cream first 3 ingredients
- Add the rest of ingredients to first 3 and hand mix well
- Pour into 8 x 8-inch pan
- Bake at 350 40 minutes
- Recipe may be doubled and bake in 9 x 13-inch pan
