German Apple Pudding Cake
Ingredients
- 2 cups peeled diced apples
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 cup flour
- 1 12 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 cup nuts chopped
- 34 cup raisins
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
Directions
- Mix apples and sugar together
- Let stand until sugar is thoroughly dissolved
- Add eggs and mix well
- Sift dry ingredients together
- Stir into apple mixture
- Add nuts raisins and vanilla
- Pour into 8 X 8 inch pan which is slightly oiled
- Bake at 375 for 40 - 45 minutes
- If preferred use unsweetened can sliced apples instead of fresh apples
