German Apple Pudding Cake

Ingredients

  • 2 cups peeled diced apples
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 12 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 cup nuts chopped
  • 34 cup raisins
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla

Directions

  1. Mix apples and sugar together
  2. Let stand until sugar is thoroughly dissolved
  3. Add eggs and mix well
  4. Sift dry ingredients together
  5. Stir into apple mixture
  6. Add nuts raisins and vanilla
  7. Pour into 8 X 8 inch pan which is slightly oiled
  8. Bake at 375 for 40 - 45 minutes
  9. If preferred use unsweetened can sliced apples instead of fresh apples
