German Chocolate Caramel Bars
Ingredients
- 60 light caramels
- 12 c evaporated milk
- 1 18 oz pkg German chocolate cake mix
- 13 c evaporated milk
- 1 c chopped nuts
- 1 c chocolate chips
- 34 c oleo melted
Directions
- In a pan combine caramels and milk
- Heat until all caramels are melted and set aside
- In a large bowl combine cake mix oleo 13 cup milk and nuts
- Press 12 of the dough into a greased 9 x 11-inch pan or dish
- Save the rest of the dough for topping
- Bake at 350 for 8 minutes
- Remove from oven and sprinkle chocolate chips over the mix
- Spread the caramel mixture over the chocolate chips
- Then crumble the rest of the cake mixture over the caramels
- Bake for 18 minutes at 350
- Cool before cutting
