German Chocolate Cheesecake
Ingredients
- 1 14 c chocolate wafers or cracker crumbs 18
- 2 Tbsp sugar
- 3 Tbsp margarine melted
- 2 8 oz 1 3 oz pkg cream cheese
- 1 c sugar
- 14 c cocoa
- 2 tsp vanilla
- 3 eggs
Directions
- Press evenly into ungreased pan first 3 ingredients
- Bake at 350 for 10 minutes
- Beat cream cheese in 3-quart bowl
- Add sugar and cocoa gradually
- Beat in eggs one at a time
- Pour in vanilla
- Pour into spring-form pan
- Bake at 300 until center is firm about 1 hour
- Cover and refrigerate for 3 hours
- Prepare topping
- Spread over cake loosen sides and remove
