German Chocolate Filling And Topping

Ingredients
- 1 c evaporated milk
- 1 c sugar
- 3 egg yolks slightly beaten
- 12 stick butter or margarine
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 c flaked coconut
- 1 c chopped nuts
Directions
- In medium saucepan combine milk egg yolks and butter
- Cook stirring constantly until mixture comes to a boil
- Remove from heat add remaining ingredients
- Cool until thick enough to hold shape stirring occasionally
- Frosts two 9-inch round layer cakes
