German Meatball And Noodle Casserole
Ingredients
- 1 lb lean ground beef
- 1 egg
- 14 c milk
- 14 tsp pepper
- 1 small onion minced
- 12 c dry bread crumbs
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 Tbsp oil
- 1 10 12 oz can condensed beef broth
- 2 c medium egg noodles
- 1 tsp caraway seed may be omitted
- 1 16 oz jar sweet-sour red cabbage drained
Directions
- Combine beef egg onion milk bread crumbs salt and pepper mix well
- Shape into 1-inch meatballs
- In a medium skillet medium-low heat in hot salad oil brown meatballs add undiluted beef broth and simmer covered 30 minutes
- In a large saucepan cook noodles and drain
- Toss caraway seed and noodles
- Preheat oven to 350
