German Meatball And Noodle Casserole

Ingredients

  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 1 egg
  • 14 c milk
  • 14 tsp pepper
  • 1 small onion minced
  • 12 c dry bread crumbs
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 Tbsp oil
  • 1 10 12 oz can condensed beef broth
  • 2 c medium egg noodles
  • 1 tsp caraway seed may be omitted
  • 1 16 oz jar sweet-sour red cabbage drained

Directions

  1. Combine beef egg onion milk bread crumbs salt and pepper mix well
  2. Shape into 1-inch meatballs
  3. In a medium skillet medium-low heat in hot salad oil brown meatballs add undiluted beef broth and simmer covered 30 minutes
  4. In a large saucepan cook noodles and drain
  5. Toss caraway seed and noodles
  6. Preheat oven to 350
