German Schnitzel
Ingredients
- 4 to 6 slices pork tenderloin
- 2 to 3 eggs beaten well
- bread crumbs
- mustard
- salt
- pepper
- garlic powder
- margarine
Directions
- First flatten meat to tenderize and make larger
- This can be done by pounding meat with the flat side of meat cleaver or plate edge
- Season with salt pepper and garlic powder and spread with mustard
- Dip meat in egg on both sides and then dip in bread crumbs
- Melt margarine in skillet at medium-high heat
- When margarine is hot add meat and fry until brown on both sides
- If egg is left over scramble and place on top of meat
