Giant Crisp Chocolate Chip Cookies
Ingredients
- 2 c all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 c margarine softened
- 1 12 c sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 12 oz pkg chocolate chips
- 1 c chopped nuts
Directions
- Mix flour baking soda and salt and set aside
- Cream butter until fluffy and beat in sugar egg and vanilla
- Stir in remaining ingredients
- Shape into 2-inch balls
- Place 3 inches apart on an ungreased cookie sheet
- Bake at 350 for 15 to 20 minutes or until lightly brown
- Let cookies remain on sheet until they are firm
- Makes 21 4-inch cookies
- For softer cookies add an additional 12 cup flour
