Gingerbread Boy

Ingredients

• 1 c margarine softened
• 1 c sugar
• 1 egg
• 1 c molasses
• 1 12 tsp soda
• 1 tsp cloves
• 2 tsp vinegar
• 5 c flour
• 12 tsp salt
• 2 tsp ginger
• 1 tsp cinnamon

Directions

1. Cream together sugar and margarine
2. Stir in egg and molasses Add vinegar beat well
3. Stir in sifted dry ingredients
4. Mix well
5. Chill overnight
6. Place one small ball on cookie sheet flatten with palm to make head
7. Roll one ball into a straight rope for arms
8. Roll last ball into a rope and then curve it for legs and body
9. Garnish with nuts or raisins before baking
10. Use greased cookie sheet
11. They really grow so leave room
12. Dont let the gingerbread boy get away from you
