GingerS Chocolate Cookies

Ingredients
- 1 pkg devils food cake mix
- 13 c water
- 14 c butter softened
- 1 egg
- 1 c vanilla chips
- 12 c chopped walnuts
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350
- Lightly grease cookie sheets
- Combine first four ingredients and mix well with spoon
- Dough will be thick
- Add vanilla chips and nuts
- Drop by teaspoon on cookie sheet Bake 10 to 12 minutes
- Let stand on cookie sheet 1 minute before removing to wire rack
- Yields 2 dozen large or 4 dozen small cookies
