Gingersnaps

Ingredients
- 23 c shortening
- 12 c sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 c molasses
- 1 Tbsp vinegar
- 2 Tbsp cold water
- 4 12 c flour
- 1 Tbsp soda
- 1 Tbsp ginger
Directions
- Cream shortening with sugar
- Add beaten egg then molasses vinegar and cold water
- Sift flour soda and ginger and add to first mixture
- Stir in as much of the flour as you can and knead in remainder
- Roll out
- Cut in desired shapes
- Bake 10 to 12 minutes at 350
