GMas Molasses Sugar Cookies

Ingredients

• 34 c shortening I use butter
• 1 c sugar
• 14 c molasses
• 1 egg
• 2 c flour
• 2 tsp baking soda
• 1 tsp cinnamon
• 12 tsp cloves
• 12 tsp ginger
• 12 tsp salt

Directions

1. Cream shortening and sugar
2. Add molasses and egg beat well Sift flour baking soda cinnamon cloves ginger and salt
3. Add to first mixture
4. Mix well and chill
5. Form into one-inch balls and roll in sugar
6. Place on greased cookie sheet 2-inches apart Bake at 375 for 8 to 10 minutes
