Golden Midas Dog Biscuits

Ingredients
- 1 c whole wheat flour
- 12 c all-purpose flour
- 34 c dry milk
- 13 c Crisco shortening
- 1 Tbsp instant bouillon
- 12 c hot water
- 12 c quick rolled oats
- 14 c yellow corn meal
- 1 egg slightly beaten
Directions
- Combine flours powdered milk oats and corn meal
- Cut in shortening until it resembles coarse crumbs
- Stir in egg
- Stir bouillon in hot water until dissolved
- Slowly pour into flour mixture
- Stir with fork to moisten
- Form ball and knead on floured board about 5 minutes until smooth and elastic
- Divide dough in half and roll out 14 to 12-inch thick
- Cut out cookies with dog bone shaped cookie cutter
- Arrange on ungreased cookie sheet
- Bake at 325 for 15 minutes on one side
- Turn over biscuits and bake for 15 minutes more on other side
