Good Hush Puppies

Ingredients

• 1 c cornmeal
• 1 c flour
• 1 egg
• about 1 c buttermilk
• onion

Directions

1. Mix all ingredients
2. Mixture will be thick
3. Let rise about 30-40 minutes
4. Do not stir
5. Then just drop by spoonful into hot grease and fry
