Good Sweet And Sour Pork
Ingredients
- 1 12 lb pork cubed
- 1 20 oz can pineapple chunks
- 2 Tbsp cornstarch
- 3 Tbsp soy sauce
- 1 bell pepper diced
- cooked brown rice
- 12 to 1 c water
- 14 c brown sugar
- 14 c vinegar
- dash of salt
- 14 c onion diced
Directions
- In large skillet brown pork
- Add water cover and simmer until tender 1 hour
- Drain pineapple reserving syrup
- Mix pineapple syrup brown sugar cornstarch vinegar soy sauce and salt
- Cook over medium heat until thickens
- Cook pineapple bell pepper and onion in small amount of oil or butter until tender add to pork mixture
- Serve over hot rice
- Makes 4 to 6 servings
