Gooey Butter Cake
Ingredients
- 1 pkg yellow cake mix
- 12 c melted butter
- 2 large eggs
- 1 8 oz pkg cream cheese softened
- 1 16 oz pkg powdered sugar sifted
- 2 large eggs
- powdered sugar
Directions
- Combine first 3 ingredients in a large mixing bowl beat at medium speed until blended
- Pour batter into a greased and floured 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan set aside
- Beat cream cheese until creamy
- Gradually add sifted powdered sugar beat well
- Add eggs one at a time beating after each addition
- Pour cream cheese mixture evenly over batter
- Bake at 350 for 30 minutes or until golden
- Let cool completely in pan or wire rack
- Sprinkle with additional powdered sugar
