Gooseberry Pudding

Ingredients
- 14 c margarine
- 34 c flour
- 12 c milk
- 13 c sugar
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 c washed and stemmed gooseberries
- 1 c sugar
- 1 Tbsp margarine
- 1 c boiling water
Directions
- Cream margarine and 13 cup sugar well
- Add baking powder and flour mix well
- Add milk to creamed mixture
- Spread in greased 8-inch pie pan
- Top with berries
- Sprinkle 1 cup sugar over berries dot with margarine and pour boiling water over all
- Bake 30 to 40 minutes at 375 until lightly brown
