Gourmet Crab Ring

Ingredients

  • 1 tsp unflavored gelatin
  • 14 c cold water
  • 2 8 oz pkg cream cheese softened
  • 2 Tbsp cooking sherry
  • 34 tsp seasoned salt
  • 1 oz pimentos chopped
  • 1 6 oz pkg king crab thawed and drained
  • 18 tsp black pepper
  • 14 c snipped parsley

Directions

  1. Sprinkle gelatin over water to soften using a double boiler stir over hot water until dissolved
  2. Beat cream cheese until smooth
  3. Stir in sherry salt pimentos crab pepper 2 tablespoons parsley and the dissolved gelatin
  4. Pour into a 3-cup ring mold
  5. Refrigerate 4 hours or until set
  6. To serve turn out on plate
  7. Garnish with the remaining parsley
  8. Place parsley sprigs in center
