Gourmet Hominy Bake
Ingredients
- 2 large 1 lb 13 oz cans hominy
- 1 4 oz can green chilies minced
- salt and pepper to taste
- butter
- sour cream
- 12 c heavy cream
- 1 c grated Monterey Jack cheese
Directions
- Drain and rinse the hominy
- Generously butter a 3-quart casserole
- Layer the ingredients in this order hominy green chilies salt pepper sour cream butter
- Repeat the layers ending with a layer of hominy
- Dot the top with butter and pour cream over all
- Sprinkle with cheese
- Bake 15 to 30 minutes at 350
