Gourmet Potatoes
Ingredients
- 6 good sized potatoes
- 2 c shredded Cheddar cheese
- 14 c butter or oleo
- 1 lb sour cream
- 1 tsp salt
- 14 tsp pepper
- paprika
Directions
- Cook potatoes in skins
- Cool peel and shred coarsely
- In saucepan melt butter over low heat
- Add cheese and stir until almost melted
- Remove from heat and blend in sour cream salt and pepper
- Mix with shredded potatoes
- Bake in a 2-quart casserole and sprinkle with paprika for color
- Bake at 350 for 30 minutes or until heated through
- Best if made day before and stored in refrigerator until ready to bake
