Grandma Ammons Cookies

Ingredients

• 1 c butter
• 2 c brown sugar
• 3 12 c plain flour
• 12 tsp salt
• 1 tsp soda
• 2 eggs
• 1 c chopped nuts

Directions

1. Combine butter and sugar
2. Add eggs and mix well
3. Sift flour salt and soda add to first mixture
4. Add nuts mix well
5. Shape into a large bowl and chill overnight
6. Turn cookies on a floured board and shape into a roll
7. Slice very thin for baking
8. Bake on a cookie sheet in 350 oven until crisp and light brown
9. Yield 5 dozen
