Grandma VanS No-Fail Pie Crust

Ingredients

  • 3 c flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 egg well beaten
  • 1 Tbsp vinegar
  • 1 14 c shortening
  • 5 Tbsp water

Directions

  1. Put dry ingredients into bowl
  2. Cut in shortening
  3. Mix beaten egg vinegar and water together
  4. Add liquid all at once and mix with fork just enough to moisten all flour
  5. Roll out
  6. May be kept in refrigerator up to 2 weeks
  7. Bake at 450 for 10 to 12 minutes
