Grandma WoodS Butter Sauce
Ingredients
- 2 c water
- 12 c sugar
- 14 c butter
- 2 Tbsp cornstarch
- dash of salt
- 12 tsp nutmeg
Directions
- Mix all ingredients together and cook until thick
- Serve warm over berry and fruit pies or dumplings
- Yields approximately 2 12 cups
