GrandmaS Cookies

Ingredients
- 2 c flour
- 12 lb butter
- 1 tsp almond extract
- 34 c sugar
- 1 egg
- 34 c ground pecans
Directions
- Cream together all but flour and nuts
- Mix in flour and nuts Form into logs about 1 12-inches in diamater wrap in wax paper and freeze
- Slice 14-inch thick
- Cook at 350 for 7 to 10 minutes
- Watch color carefully after 7 minutes they go from white to burned
- Remove from cookie sheet immediately
