GrandmaS Gingerbread

Ingredients
- 12 c shortening
- 12 c sugar
- 1 c sorghum 13 c molasses and 23 c Karo
- 2 eggs beaten
- 2 12 c flour
- 1 tsp ginger
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 12 tsp cloves
- 1 tsp soda
- 12 tsp salt
- 1 c boiling water
Directions
- Cream sugar and shortening
- Add eggs and sorghum and beat Sift together dry ingredients
- Add dry ingredients alternately with water to creamed mixture
- Beat
- Pour into a 9 x 13-inch pan and bake at 350 for 30 to 40 minutes
