Grandma'S Moist Chocolate Cake And Frosting

Ingredients

  • 2 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 2 tsp. baking soda
  • 3/4 c. cocoa
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 1 c. milk
  • 1 c. vegetable oil
  • 3 eggs, beaten
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 c. hot strong coffee

Directions

  1. Sift dry ingredients together.
  2. Add milk, oil, eggs and vanilla.
  3. Beat well.
  4. Add coffee.
  5. Blend completely.
  6. Batter will be thin.
  7. Bake at 325° in two 9-inch greased and floured pans for 25 to 30 minutes.
