GrandmaS Potato Pancakes

Ingredients
- 2 lb peeled raw potatoes
- 1 Tbsp salt
- 2 Tbsp flour
- 3 eggs separated
- 1 c milk
- 12 c finely grated onion optional
- oil for frying
Directions
- Grate raw potatoes into bowl of cold water
- Shortly before frying squeeze potatoes using thin white cloth
- Place potatoes in bowl
- Add salt flour egg yolks and milk
- Add onions if desired
- Beat egg whites until stiff
- Fold into potato mixture
