GrandmaS Red DevilS Food

Ingredients

• 1 egg
• 1 c flour
• pinch of salt
• 1 c sugar
• 1 c thick sour milk
• 1 tsp soda
• 3 Tbsp lard melted then measured
• 4 drops red food coloring
• 2 sq unsweetened chocolate melted

Directions

1. Mix the egg flour salt sugar and sour milk with soda added to it
2. Add lard food coloring and melted unsweetened chocolate Batter is quite thin
3. Place in an 8 x 8-inch pan
4. Double recipe makes 9 x 13-inch pan plus 6 cupcakes
5. Bake at 350 for 20 to 30 minutes
