Ingredients

  • 1 c sugar
  • 2 sticks butter softened
  • 1 egg
  • 12 c milk
  • 14 tsp soda
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • flour

Directions

  1. Cream butter and sugar in bowl until light and fluffy
  2. Add egg
  3. Beat until smooth
  4. Add milk soda and vanilla
  5. Mix well Add enough flour to make stiff easily handled dough
  6. Roll very thin
  7. on floured surface
  8. Cut as desired
  9. Place on baking sheet
  10. Bake at 450 for 10 to 15 minutes or lightly brown
