GrandmaS Tea Cakes
Ingredients
- 1 c sugar
- 2 sticks butter softened
- 1 egg
- 12 c milk
- 14 tsp soda
- 1 tsp vanilla
- flour
Directions
- Cream butter and sugar in bowl until light and fluffy
- Add egg
- Beat until smooth
- Add milk soda and vanilla
- Mix well Add enough flour to make stiff easily handled dough
- Roll very thin
- on floured surface
- Cut as desired
- Place on baking sheet
- Bake at 450 for 10 to 15 minutes or lightly brown
