GrandmaS Tea Cookies
Ingredients
- 12 c margarine softened
- 1 14 c sugar
- 4 eggs
- 1 Tbsp vanilla extract
- 4 12 to 5 c self-rising flour
Directions
- Cream margarine and sugar in bowl until light and fluffy Beat in eggs and vanilla
- Add enough flour gradually to make soft dough
- Shape into 5 balls
- Roll 18-inch thick on floured surface
- Cut with cookie cutter
- Place 2 inches apart on greased cookie sheet
- Bake at 350 for 8 minutes or until lightly browned
- Cool on cookie sheet for 2 minutes
- Remove to wire rack to cool completely
- Store in airtight container
