GrandmotherS BreadRolls

Ingredients

  • 1 pt warm milk
  • 1 Tbsp shortening melted in dish you use
  • 23 c sugar
  • 1 Tbsp salt
  • 5 c flour
  • 1 yeast cake

Directions

  1. Dissolve yeast cake in a little warm milk
  2. Stir together all and let rise to top of bowl
  3. Roll out
  4. Cut with biscuit cutter dip in shortening
  5. Put in pan
  6. Let rise again
  7. Bake 30 minutes in a 325 oven
