GrandmotherS Cherry Cobbler

Ingredients
- 1 c flour
- 2 tsp baking powder
- pinch of salt
- 14 c butter or margarine
- 1 c sugar
- 12 c milk
- 1 c cherries canned cherries drained and save juice
Directions
- Sift flour baking powder and salt
- Cream butter and 12 cup sugar until fluffy
- Add dry ingredients alternately with milk and beating until smooth
- Pour batter into greased baking dish and put fruit on top
- Sprinkle 12 cup sugar on top
- Pour on juice over all
- Bake at 375 for 45 minutes
