GrandmotherS Chocolate Cake

Ingredients

• 12 c butter or margarine softened
• 2 eggs
• 1 tsp vanilla extract
• 12 c baking cocoa
• 1 c boiling water
• 1 c white sugar
• 1 c packed brown sugar
• 12 c milk
• 2 c all-purpose flour
• 1 tsp soda
• 1 tsp salt
• 1 tsp baking powder

Directions

1. In a large mixing bowl cream butter and sugars
2. Add eggs milk and vanilla beat well
3. Combine flour cocoa salt baking powder and soda
4. Add to creamed mixture and mix well
5. Stir in water mix until smooth
6. Batter will be thin
7. Pour into a greased and floured 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan
8. Bake at 350 for 35 to 40 minutes or until cake tests done
