Granny Deavers Spoon Bread

Ingredients
- 1 c yellow cornmeal
- 2 c boiling water
- 3 Tbsp butter
- 1 tsp salt
- 3 large eggs well beaten
- 1 c milk
Directions
- Slowly add cornmeal to boiling water stirring constantly until thick and smooth
- Add butter and salt cool to lukewarm Then add eggs and milk
- Beat for 2 minutes
- Pour into greased casserole and bake in preheated 375 oven for 35 minutes or until golden brown
- Spoon out while piping hot and pass more butter
