GrannyS Italian Cookies

Ingredients

• 6 eggs
• 3 to 4 c flour
• 4 tsp baking powder
• pinch of salt
• 1 tsp vanilla
• 6 heaping Tbsp Crisco
• 12 heaping Tbsp sugar

Directions

1. Beat sugar and Crisco until very creamy
2. Add eggs and beat very well
3. Add vanilla
4. Put flour baking powder and salt through sifter and mix thoroughly into batter should not be sticky
5. Grease cookie sheets
6. Drop by teaspoon onto sheets and form with fingers
7. Bake at 400 until cookies are light brown Ice with powdered sugar and milk frosting
