Grape-Nuts Ice Cream

Ingredients

• 4 eggs well beaten
• 2 12 c sugar
• 6 c milk
• 4 c half and half
• 1 12 Tbsp vanilla
• 12 tsp salt
• 1 c Grape-Nuts

Directions

1. Add sugar gradually to beaten eggs
2. Beat well after each addition
3. When stiff add remaining ingredients except Grape-Nuts and mix thoroughly
4. Pour into ice cream maker
5. Add Grape-Nuts and crank until firm or frozen
