Grape-Nuts Pudding
Ingredients
- 12 c Grape-Nuts cereal
- 2 12 c warm milk
- 2 large eggs or 3 small
- 14 to 12 c sugar
- 12 tsp salt
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- grated nutmeg optional
Directions
- Soak cereal in warm milk for 10 minutes
- Beat eggs with fork add sugar to taste
- Add salt vanilla and cerealmilk mixture Spoon into a buttered 5 cup casserole dish
- If desired sprinkle top with nutmeg
- Set casserole into a pan partly filled with water
- Bake at 350 for about 1 hour
- Stir at least twice during the first 20 minutes of baking
- Makes 4 to 6 servings
- Serve warm or chilled
- Store leftover pudding in refrigerator
